What happens when a needle enters your skin?

Many procedures performed on our skin disrupt the integrity of the skin for a short or long time. Mesotherapies - especially those performed with needles -, laser treatments and chemical peelings can be given as examples. In order to avoid problems during the healing process, extra attention and following the recommendations made after the procedure are important.
Especially after needle procedures, we always say, "Do not shower! Do not touch too much! Avoid heavy make-up etc. applications that will clog the pores!" We warn you like this. The image above explains why. Since the integrity of the skin is disrupted after the needle procedure, our skin becomes more sensitive to effects such as irritation, infection, etc. Because we have a perfect mechanism, our cells repair these entry points within hours and we can continue our daily lives without any problems. But as I mentioned before, "Do not shower! Do not touch too much! Avoid heavy make-up etc. applications that will clog the pores!"
Listen to your doctor for post-procedure do's and don'ts! 😁
